These two floofs from Shabby Chic Silkies & Seramas always make me do a double take 🫣 I can’t wait until he is breeding because this cockerel has it all! And peanut may be small but she is mighty 🖤

We had a medical emergency concerning my husband over last weekend and it was so challenging. I struggle seeing him suffer in any copacity after nearly losing him in 2022. Every day with our loved ones is a blessing, hug them tight and often 🥰

Chicken daddy is improving and God remains good 🙏

That being said we are finally able to focus on setting up the new pen 🥰 this cute little dog house will be the perfect little coop for 6 floofs to sleep 😴 hopefully we can get the pen set up soon too!!

I’m struggling to put into words just how truly astounding this image is..
Becky at Diva Girl Silkies has managed to bring me to my knees emotionally with her talent and willingness to listen to the Holy Spirit.
Besides PERFECTLY capturing Maximus and Diva, she made me exactly what I wanted, I asked for my two “least favorite” birds to be among rolling hills and with lavender tulips around them. The reason I wanted tulips is because they were my late grandmothers favorite flower, what I didn’t tell Becky is that my grandmother always associated me with the color yellow. So imagine my surprise when I open this image to purple AND yellow tulips 🥹 it feels like a hug, it feels like my grandmothers love and care for me.

It may seem silly to some, but after the struggles we’ve been facing in private this last week, this image felt like a win, a reminder things will be ok, and The Lord has it sorted 🙏

So thank you for sharing your gift with me, and thank you for listening to the still small voice saying to include yellow when I didn’t even know I needed it 🥹

Salon day for the white girls, headbands for EVERYBODY 🥳

It seems my whites have the most massive crests of all my birds. So I try to keep their hair up or plucked!

It always cracks me up how they run around in shock at all they can see 👀
