Happy $5 Friday!

We have kittens galore right now… 7 in foster homes and 8 in home here so feeding/caring for them tallies up. 8 will need vaccinated this weekend so they can go to their forever homes and 2 need in depth vet appointments next week.

Miracle is two days post op and amazing me more and more!

I’ll share some videos of her but for now here are a few photos of her getting so much love and enjoying some tuna dessert. 🥰

Oh and ignore her eye boogeys and messy face, she’s learning how to groom herself now and also can’t get to her face when her cone is on.

Thankful beyond words for the love she is going to be able to give her mom for the rest of her life. I’m amazed by the support we received for her.

Also… M is moonlighting as a product tester for me to give Perkins some time off from the hard work of being in the spotlight!

Here she’s trying a slow feeding mat that comes with its own spatula and a Churu feeding tool as well as an automatic, temp controlled, wet food feeder/waterer!! Stay tuned for more on those too🙊

And another four babies were found at our Newburg colony when we went to set traps today🤦🏻‍♀️So anyway, it’s $5 Friday😭 ...

So anyway, it’s $5 Friday😭 we have TWELVE spots tomorrow for TNR and could use one more sponsor to cover an additional kitty from this colony so we can keep the numbers down.

To end the rollercoaster of a day today…

I wanted to share some photos of Miracle (aka Hops) as today was her amputation surgery at York Co. SPCA!

She is an amazing cat, so sweet and loving, and I couldn’t be more grateful to our community for helping her get this surgery🤍

Just 8 hours Post-Op and she’s in good spirits and already trying to test her “strict rest” regulations.

⚠️ I shared some pics of her face and NOT her broken legs that was removed but be warned if you tap through you will see the injury and a peak at her surgical site. ⚠️

She lived this way for weeks before she was secured and through it all she has been in amazing spirits.

These cats deserve the world, they didn’t ask for the life they were dealt, and I’m thankful I can help give them that with our CK village💙

Lewey and Amber fought tirelessly for this last week, by his little body was done… Rest in peace little one.

Thank you all for the love, donations, etc that went towards his care. It was not in vein, it gave him his best chance to fight the virus. He knew endless love through it all.

This is just heartbreaking story to show why we will scream from the roof tops to FIX THE CATS YOU FEED.

Kittens shouldn’t have to suffer, people who love them should not have to watch them take their last breath in their arms, and no one should have to bury their tiny little bodies that had a whole life ahead of them…
