Though not all of the dogs that come through our program enjoy bathing, de-shedding and grooming, we would like to send out a big thank you to the two donors who sponsored the grooming tub and professional blower for the rescue! In a coordinated effort with German Shepherds and other floofy dogs across the world, Nala is starting a movement !

This is the reality at our county shelter. This is the reality in our local community, and in so many others across the country now. Please help us help the animals. Please consider fostering. Please help us make a dent in a now impossible situation. This is why so many rescues are closing, why so many good people are walking away. The heartbreak is too much. We can't keep up. Fostering saves lives. Point blank. The change that occurs, at times almost instantly after leaving the shelters, is truly remarkable. Please consider the shy ones when visiting your local shelter. Adoption Update for Poppy, adopted in November! This special girl stole the hearts of everyone who met her. "We have recently adopted Poppy into our family! She's settling in nicely and is already coming out of her shell - she's so adorably goofy sometimes, but also a sweet cuddler!" Thank you to her southern foster family for taking such good care of her, and to our friends at Buddy Dog for finding Poppy her forever family!

Adoption Update for Chomper! Chomper just celebrated his first birthday with his family. Initially rescued in SC as a tiny pup, he has grown into such a handsome boy! "Just wanted to post to say Happy 1st Birthday to our sweet Chomper boy (who lives up to his to his name, no item is safe from him 🤣) and his siblings!! I hope they are all doing well (fka Shortie, Elsie, & Cera). We have been so blessed to have him in our family, he is such a sweet boy and the best cuddle bug! His happy place is outside in the sun ☀️🤍🐶 " thank you to his SC and MA foster families and to Safe With Us for finding him the perfect forever family!

This please consider donating towards dogs like Pearl, a heartworm positive stray requiring longer term medical treatment, and the many other animals under our care! For the seniors, to the new intakes, to the sanctuary dogs, every dollar makes a huge impact for the rescue!
