We did it again! The Lighthouse & Whirlwyn Kennels Tuesday Training Group had a busy, productive, and fun day of training — AND there were puppies!!! You can’t have a bad day when puppies are present. 😊

Well, for Lighthouse Kennels, the fall field trial season started last weekend north of the border, so training has kicked into the next gear as the Midwest field trials start in a couple of weeks. Today was another beautiful WI day for the Tuesday Training Group to turn out in force at Lighthouse & Whirlwyn Kennels!

Awesome Canada road trip to the Midwest Spaniel Association trial in Saskatchewan! As always that group put in a fantastic event on cool, unique grounds. On Friday we got skunked. On Saturday Kharma got his first Open ribbon with a 3rd place. Springer Shaney Jordan Horak got 2nd and Twig Zara Labrenz won. On Sunday Lili Roxanne Fegley got 3rd place and Shaney won. We had fun seeing lots of friends and happy that we added Kharma and Shaney to our Canadian National team this year. It was a great warmup for the upcoming US season.

Saturday training added a summer picnic!! Lighthouse Kennels and Whirlwyn Kennels !! Thank you soo much to all of our clients for donating for this picnic. Our head chief chef Troy Gawronski made soo much yummy meat !!!! Thank you !! We thought earlier in the week we would be rained out.. and how crazy was it that the weather report… was wrong !!! We had fun puppies… and a Pigeon who thought he was dreaming big as a supervisor… thank you soo much to Rosemary LoGiudice for always taking such nice photos of our training days

Tuesday was a stormy day in much of the Midwest. We hope that all of our friends are ok. Meanwhile here at Lighthouse-Whirlwyn Kennels the weather cooperated for another fine training day.
