Many people remember Seabiscuit from history books.
But the horse who brought the legendary champion back to life on the big screen was a striking Thoroughbred named Popcorn Deelites. 🐴🎬
Known affectionately as “Pops,” the blood-bay Seabiscuit lookalike starred in the 2003 film *Seabiscuit*, helping recreate one of the most inspiring underdog stories in American sports history.
Starring Tobey Maguire, Jeff Bridges, and William H. Macy, the film followed Seabiscuit’s incredible rise from overlooked racehorse to national hero during the Great Depression. Like he’s simply passing by… not casing out the place. 🐴🥕
The sign says *“DO NOT LET THE PONY IN”*
Big letters. Impossible to miss.
But judging by the look in his eyes, he considers that less of a rule… and more of a challenge.
Because somewhere beyond that door sits his true love:
Carrots.
Fresh ones. Crunchy ones. Entire baskets of them.
And this tiny four-legged criminal has spent years perfecting his strategy.
