Been apart of this group for over a year now and I’ve always loved looking at the cute pictures/posts waiting for the day to get my own….. Yesterday I finally got my first golden retriever pup and I am OBSESSED. He is such a good boy already 🥰 Meet Finley!!

Because Callie was a puppy mill breeder, and not socialized as a young dog, she does not understand the concept of play. I’ve been trying to teach her to play ball for almost 2-1/2 years without much success.

She has finally figured out that she’s supposed to chase the ball when I throw it, and she has even caught a few bounces. But once she has the ball, she leaves the room with it, just like she does with other toys. She takes them to her safe place.

Guess who brought the ball back to me today? She’s so proud of herself!

I never knew I could love an animal so much until I found Moose. From the first week he had my heart. Two weeks after coming home I found out he has puppy strangles. Moose takes medication twice a day to stay alive. I don’t post much because I can’t stand the people who have negative comments. No he’s not mated, no he does not need to be groomed. Yes, I trim his hair all the time!! But his hair grows like this because he’s special and I am so lucky to call him mine. 🤍 So please if your one of those jerks who has said negative comments about Moose please don’t comment anymore or I won’t post anymore.

We lost our sweet Bentley on Sunday suddenly. He was only 8 years young. Totally healthy then suddenly sick on Sunday morning and had to make the hardest choice. The Er vet said he had fluid around his heart, either caused by cancer or ruptured heart valve. We are devastated and so heartbroken. He was the best boy ever. 🌈🌷
