Homemade Chicken and Vegetable Crunchy Bone Treats for Dogs With Oat Flour
Ingredients:
* 2 cups (280 g) cooked chicken breast (shredded, skinless, boneless)
* 1 cup (195 g) brown rice (cooked and cooled)
* 1/2 cup (65 g) carrots (finely chopped and lightly steamed)
* 1/4 cup (35 g) peas (cooked and mashed)
* 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
* 2 1/2 cups (250 g) oat flour (finely ground)
* 2–4 tbsp (30–60 ml) water (as needed)

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Blend the shredded chicken, brown rice, carrots, and peas in a food processor until finely combined.
3. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the egg and oat flour. Add water gradually until a firm dough forms.
4. Roll the dough to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness on a lightly floured surface.
5. Cut into bone-shaped treats similar to those shown in the image.
6. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and firm.
7. For extra-crunchy treats, reduce oven temperature to 200°F (95°C) and bake for an additional 30–45 minutes.
8. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
