🚨 An overdue update from the BIG 6️⃣ litter 🐶

FOUR puppies from Muffin’s first litter found their forever homes last month.

The families who got to adopt puppies from this litter definitely got the missing piece to their puzzle 🧩💚

For anyone who is a dachshund lover or interested in getting their first dachshund — Muffin is scheduled for another litter in spring 2025 🐶🌼🌞

The BIG six are mad at me this morning for their baby wipe bath 😂🥰🐶🐾
They’re getting very active! And I can tell their eyes are almost ready to open 👀 🐶 they’ll be TWO WEEKS on Sunday.
Mama dog is doing wonderful at taking care of her first litter. 💙💚🩷💜🩵💜
P.S. mama dog took the collars off three of my girls… (the light blue 🩵 collar is a girl. Dark blue💙 and green💚are my boys)

🐾🐶 FOLLOW UP: from our vet appointment yesterday!

It’s been a long night! 😫
Miss Muffin wasn’t properly passing all afterbirth, and it started to set up an infection. The doctor gave her a shot and put her on some strong medicine, which in turn made her milk toxic for 24 hours. I’ve been bottle feeding all six puppies every 2-3 hours since 3 pm Monday. These babies are ready to have their mama back! The countdown is real!!!

(P.S. this is the runt of the litter, she is ALL black 🖤😍)
