Miss Fay was bred to Pops LM Candyman.
Thanks so much to my friends Bob and Barb Spitler for letting us use this handsome guy.
Original plan to AI to Smooth Talker changed due to collection day change. So If I get Smooth Talkers semen in time then Tempo will be AI'd to him.

Another Jankity task done here on the farm. Added a small 6x8 run to the coop. This one we can move around the yard easily when chickens need fresh ground and then we can place back in front of the coop at night and then lock chickens in coop. Our chickens for some reason dont put themselves back in the coop when they free range. So this is our current solution...

Another project complete. Moved the shelter, added a platform, put up a wall to divide bucklings so no little boys can try to breed through the fence.. Since I only have 10 goats currently, keeping everyone in the front yards will be a lot easier during winter.

Ashland County Dairy goat show was good to us.
I would say my most proud placement was Bentz Family Farm Waimea. Mea took first in her SR. Kid class against 3 herds that I look up to and respect. (I respect the other herds in the ring as well but was not familiar with them)
JR. NUBIAN
Bentz Family Farm Rhythm 1st place
Bentz Family Farm Melody 3rd place
JR. Alpine
Bentz Family Farm Azzra 2nd Still need to work on her weak pasterns(2 in class)
And Miss Fay (Echo-Run Toffee)1st place, Grand Champion and Best of Breed.
We showed 5 out of our 7 does.
Tip and Pika were just not show ring ready.

It has been to wet and yucky to put grain in the yard feeder so I brought goats into catch pen seperately or in pairs to eat grain....wouldn't you know these two dumped the bucket...I should have known to bring them in seperate...lol.
Clearly Azzra doesn't want to share as you can see she likes to put her body in the feeder...
Not sanitary in this yuck forsure.

Ok so this is just the tail end of us figuring out how to move this structure... over a 2ft deep litter....by the way dont deep litter small hard to get into structures...especially if theres a possibility you will later want to move it..
With a long fence post, some 2x4's, tractor power and man power we got r done..
