Cause For Paws Rescue, Illinois Cause for Paws Rescue is a licensed not for profit 501c3 animal rescue organization. All dogs in our program are fostered through our network of volunteers.

We are 100% foster based. We do most of our adoptions at the DeKalb, IL Petsmart. Cause for Paws Rescue is an all-breed rescue group made up of dedicated volunteers, who open their hearts and their homes to provide a safe haven for our orphans, who come to us from Animal Control, High-Kill Shelters and owner surrender situations.

Here at Cause for Paws we believe that true love comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, and backgrounds; and these orphans are living proof of that.

These guys and gal have been overlooked time and time again; and we honestly have no idea why. What we DO know is that they are deserving of a life of their own. We pride ourselves on having only the best foster homes; but these amazing pets want homes of their own; and we are committed to finding that for them. ❤️

This is the story of three little orphans....

These babies came from a pretty rough start (to say the least;) and are proven survivors through and through.

The only thing left to their story is to find a family of their own; and we need you to help us with that. ❤️

Bobby is a little boy with a huge heart; he just wants all the love and snuggle he can get (mixed in with sun and zoomies of course.) Bobby is the black and white puppy with the "eye patch" over one eye. 😁

Next up we have Wren; she's a shy little girl who doesn't demand attention; but LOVES to get it. Wren is mostly black with white and you HAVE to see her to fully appreciate her cuteness🥰

Last but not least; we have Mia. Mia is the (self-proclaimed;) leader of the pack and can be found exploring her foster home's yard or bossing her siblings around. Mia is tan with a dark nose. 😁

According to Breezy and Buster's human foster brother Brayton, these babies are "too tuuute" (cute.) Brayton is two years old so you KNOW it's the truth. ❤️

Brayton isn't wrong though; Breezy and Buster ARE tooooo cute. Breezy is a little girl; (brown and mostly black) and Buster is a little boy (brown and black.)

Our best guess is that these babies are German Shepard mix and will be on the larger side of a medium sized breed.

Both Breezy and Buster have been GREAT in their foster home where they are not only comfortable with humans of all sizes (even two year olds;) but also great with cats, other dogs, and all of the normal things that living in a home brings. These are very well-rounded puppies who learn fast and are eager to please.
