Thank you for your interest in BB. Yes, she is friendly, loves kids and acts like she is a big dog if she feels threatened by another dog. She was my sisters only pet. That's saying a lot since we owned and managed a great kennel five miles outside of Collierville for over 20+ years. I fell in love with every Westie I owned but Debbie tried to keep her dogs in the kennel. She told me that almost every day of my life.
Anyway, when my husband passed away, after 11 years of being paralyzed, BB was born that day. Butchs Baby.
She never left the house after she was weaned. I don't think I ever saw the little dog walk. LOL
She is 11 years old or 12, it is hard to remember now. I placed all of our breeding dogs in great homes and fully retired myself.
One of my westies scratched BB in the eye when she was about 5 years old and Debbie & our vet tried everything to save it to the amount close to $5,000. She acts like it doesn't cause her any problems. Also, being a Yorkie she lost her teeth a few years ago. Still, she eats what she wants but she loves chicken & turkey. I buy frozen chicken breast from Costco, pull one out b of the freezer almost every day to fix her. She also eats whatever I'm having.
BB runs and plays like a puppy when I let her out with the other two dogs that live with me. My sister & I have always had doggie doors in our house and BB flys through them just like my Westie. I don't let her out by herself because I'm in the country and the hawks are really bad.
Back to the story of why I have BB. I sold my house last spring and moved in with my sister, Debbie. She started having health issues and needed me. Debbie also has a grown daughter who is mentally challenged and with Debbies health declining she also needed me to help with her daughter.
Then, last August, she had a massive heart attack and passed away. My heart has been broken but I'm trying to do what's best for myself and Debbies two children. I am re-homing my Westie and my Yorkie. I have promises from two great families for my dogs.
I've waited until the last minute ( I move on 4-30-25) in hopes that Debbie's son would take BB. He wants to but he said she reminds him of his mother. So, if you'd like to see her I will be happy to bring her to your home. Just let me know asap. I have a list that is waiting.
