The perfect balance- Daisey is ready to cuddle/party always while Ashley will quietly come up on the couch with you and watch the latest Netflix series.

On Monday we got a phone call that three kittens were spotted outside with their momma on the streets in New Bedford. We don’t have to tell you that this is not a safe place for a cat let alone kittens to live, especially as the colder weather sets in. Over the course of two days all the kittens & their mom were trapped and brought to the safety of our rescue. They’re being brought to the vet for a checkup in the near future, fingers crossed for a clean bill of health 🤞 we have to hold them for four weeks but afterwards these babies will be up for adoption! As for the momma: we’re going check for a microchip and work on making her feel more comfortable and see if she opens up. Updates to come!

Just a girl making some biscuits and looking for all the love! We told you about Sofia’s story in our previous post but wanted to share some videos to showcase just how sweet this 7 month old is. Sofia came to us after a teenager, who she is named after, saved her off of Craigslist. She is roughly 7 months old and was sold throughout Craigslist in Fall River at least two times that we know of.

When we received her, she was bathed in a clove shampoo that poisoned her which required a trip to the emergency vet and several dawn baths.

Sofia is now healthy, fixed, and up to date on her shots. She is such a love and only wants to be with her person, cuddle under the blankets, and lay on top of her person! She is very shy and scared at first because of her rough start but once she feels comfortable she will be your shadow ♥️

Sofia was recently introduced to toys for the first time and loves her feather and baby fish toy. She takes a minute to warm up to the other cats in our rescue but once she does she’s a sweetie- her two best friends got adopted so she’s a little confused now that she is alone in the shelter. She is cautious of dogs but with time, the right home, and right dog we feel confident she would thrive!
