Super excited to get the barn complete and put the rest of the pigs in the barn this weekend!!! Almost done!!! Then can add all the minor details. I want to give a huge thanks to Nolan Floyd for all his long hours, welding and making our add on more amazing than we were imagined. He is available if you have anything you may need done!! His work is truly amazing and I should add it definitely is more on point than the barn James and I built. Lol or I should said this add on to what we had to work with squared and even way more than the barn James and I built ourselves haha.

When you loose momma and the rest of his siblings, what do we do??? Yup, bring him in the house and give him his own puppy pen!!!! Welcome to the family “squirm”. He loves his teddy!!

Today was a super hard day at the barn!! We lost a good pig mama today and all but one of her babies!! Stressful and sad day. Now we are preparing to bottle feed the one baby who survived!! So far so good. Need prayers on keep him going!!!

Can’t believe our Laurels due date is coming up sooooo soon!!!! I will have my camera up tomorrow so I can keep an eye on her when i am at work so I can let the girls know!!!! Piggies, piggies, piggies!!!!

Well the add on is on its way. We had an empty chicken coup we haven’t used in a very long time since we built a new one and we will be turning it into pig another pig barn we will be adding on to it. Now we will have a piglet area and then will have more pens for Shaelynn’s show pigs she will be showing. It will take awhile but will add on here and there. Just exciting.

Just a little bit of mud time going on here!!! Laurel loves her mud baths!! I don’t have much in the garden right now sooooo mud baths it is in there!!!!

Well and like that Shaelynn will be breeding her first show pig! She bought her a landrace gilt in belton from Conran’s 3C Showpigs. She brought Laurel home and had the best of the best (Kellen Floyd) show her all what to do to AI and she gave Laurel her 2nd dose by her help. Well with a bit of help from her ag teacher, Karibeth. It has been a long time dream of hers and now it’s happening. We finally got her home after we got the barn done!!
