We are looking for a few good humans to help build a fence this Sunday!

Did you make a new year's resolution to be more active? Spend more time outdoors? Meet new people? Make a difference in your community? This is an opportunity to do all four at once!

We are on a mission to unteather Gracie and Peace, two sweet babies whose mom is disabled. We are looking for a few extra hands to help set posts for this fence Sunday, Jan. 19th from 10 am - 12 pm. We will return on Jan. 26th to finish up.

Good Morning, Fence Crew!

We are in DESPERATE need of straw!

We've been making our rounds this week and visiting all of our fence recipients (and several of the locations on our upcoming build list) to make sure the dogs have straw in their houses to keep them warm in these freezing temps.

Please consider donating a bale or two to help! We purchased several yesterday but those won't last long (each dog house needs half a bale at least) and we have 45 more locations to go!

Donations can be brought to our office: 2213 Edgewood Ave, Burlington.

Watching ZaZa run around inside her new fence with a giant smile on her cute, squishy face really lifted our spirits and reminded us why we launched Breaking Barriers in the first place.

ZaZa has her fence! Look at how ecstatic she is to be able to run and play and jump and not have a heavy chain around her neck, weighing her down. We are so grateful to be able to do this for her and all dogs- they deserve all of this happiness!

Yesterday, we built a new fence for our beloved furry friends Buster, Cujo, and Niko! 🐶🐶🐶 They now have a safe and fun space to play and enjoy their days.

Happy Monday, Everyone!

London got her fence yesterday and she sure was happy about it! This girl can now enjoy playing in her yard safely and without the restriction of a tether!

We're building more than fences through Breaking Barriers-we're building happy pups too!

Please help us continue to do this for other dogs by making a donation to the program; the funds we raised earlier in the year have just about run out and will only guarantee us one more full fence build.
