Congratulations to Java for getting adopted yesterday during our transport trip by the sweetest mother-daughter duo! This little cutie has had a lot of interest but this was his first and final meet and greet! He went on a 5hr drive for us to be able to meet with this family in Winston Salem and get adopted on the spot, into a home so adamant about taking in rescues and loving them like they were born for their family. Java is a unique little bunny and definitely deserves a special home! Since this was an open adoption, we've been able to inform the previous family of this success and provide the chance for both families to connect directly and share all his favorite things and memories together! Thanks so much for adopting a rescue, Angela!

A precious update on Theo, who was adopted as a hopeful bonding mate for Admiral! It has taken some time to bond them, and even when bunny boarding with us we could see slow progress, but it happens most in your own home. June never gave up on them and made sure to offer them patience. So proud of you for being an awesome bunny mom!! Thank you for giving them both such a special, safe, and loving life! We sincerely appreciate the updates!!

We have been informed of a $15 price increase for spays and neuters with the clinic we use! Please keep this in mind as we begin scheduling everyone for this month's transport trip the last week of May. (We intend to book for May 28th!)

This is the base price for the surgery. You may request additional pain medication (charged by weight) if you would like but it is not necessary.

This procedure price does not include our transport fee, which is the only way we raise funds for our rescue. Final prices will look like:

Neuter: $115 + $60 = $175 each
Spay: $155 + $60 = $215 each

The total price includes their 6 hour transport round trip, their pain injections and their surgical procedure.

*If you have already sent payment for this month's transport*

Unfortunately, we will need to request the additional $15 per rabbit. We will be contacting everyone who has reached out this week specifically for this clinic trip to confirm. Everyone who has not yet prepaid will also need to prepare for / expect these prices moving forward.

We still aim to help everyone as much as possible by offering transport and assisting you to get the lowest possible price for these procedures. We have compared prices to other clinics and this is still the lowest price we can find that does not require a mandatory pre-visit.

Thank you for understanding that this is completely out of our hands and not up to us to determine financially. We look forward to assisting the next group wanting to hop into a better quality of life! Thank you for spaying and neutering your pets!!

UPDATE: ADOPTED

This little cutiepie is Java, an opal male mixed breed. He has some Dwarf in him but it is hard to tell what other breed(s) he is mixed with. He's small and has a gorgeous fur color, as opal is not very common! Java is a 4 year old neutered male who lived in his previous home for 3 years with his bonded mate. His mate passed away, leaving him lonely and the families new dog seemed a little too aggressive towards him so they surrendered him for his safety. He has no health issues and has a great temperament! In his previous home he lived indoors with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and of course the bun that unfortunately passed later on. Although he's shy and timid at first, he is very sweet and curious and does not panic with interaction or handling. He is very social and loves kids and other calm animals! He likes to dig and chew and is very eager to have his food all to himself. He loves Oxbow pellets and will eat them from your hands but is sometimes defensive of his food bowl. Java is mostly litterbox trained, shy, and adventurous. He would do well bonding with another bunny or having a calm home that allows him to adventure and not feel shy!

The original owner has opted in for an open adoption. This means she would not only love to have updates but also is willing to provide her contact information to the new adopters directly. This is not a requirement for the adopting family to comply with, but at minimum, we will let her know how each meet and greet goes and send her photos.

Adoption Fee: $60

All adopted bunnies come with a transitional bag of feed and your choice of used bowls and/or litterbox! We have cages available for purchase!

AVAILABLE

Ghost is our oldest fur baby at 8 years old! He is a very small male, neutered, tri-colored Holland Lop that has only ever had one other family. He lived his entire life of 8 years with them and will need a final home to retire to and live out the rest of his years with. He is very sweet, well mannered and calm, just wanting to lounge and eat leisurely. He has no known allergies or health issues and lived indoors only around 2 dogs amd 2 cats in his previous home. He is great with calm dogs, cats, and children and is mostly litterbox trained. Sometimes he is lazy or in his old age does not want to travel far for his litterbox so you may need more than one. Although he is shy at first, he does well with interaction and being pet gently and doesn't mind being picked up calmly and firmly. He loves broccoli, carrots and strawberries and does not seem to be a big fan of bananas! This handsome fella is very small and fragile and will need a gentle and respectful family with low noise and quiet retirement. He would likely do well with another bunny in the home if they are also calm and laid back!

The original owner has opted in for an open adoption. This means she would not only love to have updates but also is willing to provide her contact information to the new adopters directly. This is not a requirement for the adopting family to comply with, but at minimum, we will let her know how each meet and greet goes and send her photos.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Sugarpie is here to win your heart over! This female English Lop mix is only 5 months old and bashful but sweet! She was born December 7th, 2025 and has done a few events with us the past month! Both of her parents are English Lops, but seem a little smaller than usual and typically a rabbit is full grown at 6 months old so you might be lucky that she is smaller than the purebred English Lop is expected to be! She was brought to us as part of a young litter and is not yet old enough to be spayed. We will include her spay fee in her adoption price so you can bring her back to us at 6-8 months old to get the procedure done without any additional costs!

Sugarpie is mostly litterbox trained, familiar with living indoors and having outdoor access, has been living with her other siblings and would do amazing if you adopted more than one together, and even though she is bashful she is the first one at the feed bowl every day! She tends to keep to herself, especially since she is a baby, and will need time to adjust and settle in. She seems nervous when you reach for her but overall is quiet, calm and sweet and will need plenty of room as a bigger breed.

Adoption fee: $75
Spay fee: $155 (we are waiving the transportation fee of $60)
Total: $230

All adopted bunnies come with a transitional bag of feed and your choice of used bowls and/or litterbox! We have cages available for purchase!

Little Brownie is the runt of the litter! This male English Lop mix is only 5 months old and still a little shy. He was born December 7th, 2025 and has done a few events with us the past month! Both of his parents are English Lops, but seem a little smaller than usual and typically a rabbit is full grown at 6 months old so you might be lucky that he is smaller than the purebred English Lop is expected to be, especially as the runt! He was brought to us as part of a young litter and is not yet old enough to be neutered. We will include his neuter fee in his adoption price so you can bring him back to us at 6-8 months old to get the procedure done without any additional costs!

Brownie is mostly litterbox trained, familiar with living indoors and having outdoor access, has been living with his other siblings and would do amazing if you adopted more than one together, and loves to explore! He is shy, and not a huge fan of being picked up. He's in great health and didn't let his runt size remain a factor once he could hop and eat on his own! We had to hand feed him onto mamas ni***es because he wasn't assertive enough to demand his own milk, but now he will happily shove the others out of the way for some treats! He is in great health and will need plenty of room as a bigger breed.

Adoption fee: $75
Neuter fee: $115 (we are waiving the transportation fee of $60)
Total: $190

UPDATE: ADOPTED

Look out for Oreo and her airplane ears! This female English Lop mix is only 5 months old and still a bit nervous around others.

Oreo is mostly litterbox trained, familiar with living indoors and having outdoor access, has been living with her other siblings and would do amazing if you adopted more than one together, and seems to use muscles in her ears to lift them and move them that most Lop bunnies can't do! She is a bit nervous and shy, especially since she is a baby, and will need time to adjust and settle in. She is startled by very loud noises but will build confidence once she feels safe in her environment. A few days after birth, she broke her ankle and was assumed to not survive but her ankle healed and she has no issues hopping or running, but you can feel a bit of bone sticking out where it healed. Aside from that she's in great health and will need plenty of room as a bigger breed.

Adoption fee: $75
Spay fee: $155 (we are waiving the transportation fee of $60)
Total: $230
