TURTLE HAS BEEN RETURNED... 🐢

HE IS EXCEPTIONALLY ADORABLE. DALLAS TEXAS

Turtle was adopted last year, and I recall feeling elated for him and those teefers. Regrettably, his owner's acquisition of another dog resulted in incompatibility, and they chose to keep the new dog, leading to his return. Please focus on finding him the right family.

Despite this, Turtle has undergone training and demonstrated excellent behavior in group settings and on leash walks previously. It's likely that the disruption in his routine contributed to his behavioral issues. Turtle played with 8 dogs in groups and used to go to dog parks, we will work with him to acclimate his social skills and improve where needed. Always remember its not the dogs fault, they thrive with us being active and responsible.

We assure you that Turtle is a wonderful dog, and we welcome him back without hesitation. We are seeking a foster or foster-to-adopt family to provide a stable environment and help him readjust. APPLY HERE: btvrescue.org 🐢

WE DO NOT EVER SAY THIS LIGHTLY… BUT HE IS THE POSTER DOG FROM A DOG FIGHTING RING 😭🤬😭

WE NAMED HIM LEGACY BECAUSE HIS STORY MATTERS!!! Im crying, shaking, just at a loss of words! We were going to do a live video but we can’t stop crying and it’s way too emotional right now. SORRY 🥺

Legacy is in really bad shape and I don’t know how to even feel but this should NEVER EVER HAPPEN TO OUR ANIMALS. WHAT IS WRONG WITH HUMANS???

Big thanks to Fort Worth Animal Care & Control for acting quickly and allowing us to pull him right away.

Legacy is going to the hospital in the AM he does have a horrible injury on his front left leg it may be swollen or bitten to the bone I am not 100% yet and his muzzle has deep wounds! RIDDLED WITH WOUNDS on every part of his body! He’s on pain meds and we’ve cleaned him up as best as we can.
