A SAD STORY 💔
This picture is the reality of surrendering your dog. Do you know what Bella did? She did nothing, she was surrendered bc her family was having a baby. Guess why she is greyed out? She is gone she has now crossed over the rainbow bridge. Guess why? Not because she had any behavior issue or even because she was scared, but because she got sick. She got a uri all because she was stuck in a shelter because her family surrendered her 😭. She was only 2 years old and when she came through those doors was happy and healthy. She should have lived a long happy life but instead she was robbed of that!
This is Bella’s story but this is the story of many owner surrenders. If they don’t lose their life from being sick they do from being scared and ending up on the behavior list. Her story needs to be shared so maybe the next person will reconsider surrendering their pet. They are living animals with feelings and a souls and do not deserve this. It is said dogs even care more about their humans than humans can even care about them. Let that sink in.
Humans please do better by your pets quit letting them sacrifice their lives for your convenience. If you can’t care for an animal their whole life through the good and the bad please don’t get one because this is not fair to them! They are not a stuffed animal you can just throw out.
