🐾 MEET ODYSSEY 🐾

This very special boy is ready to find his forever home! Odyssey is a roughly year old bull breed mix weighing around 50 lbs.

This handsome boy came to us extremely fearful and unsure of the world around him. Considering the terrible situation he came from, that was completely understandable though. But after six weeks of training, patience, structure, and some good ol’ fashioned TLC, we’ve watched an entirely different dog emerge 🥹

Odyssey is smart, affectionate, goofy, and SO much fun! He loves to run and play, and his ball is definitely one of his favorite things. When it’s time to go inside, he’ll carry it to the gate and drop it in its special spot, ready to pick it right back up the next time he comes out 🎾. He has also gone from being possibly the most awkward tug player ever to a champion! (Okay…he’s still slightly awkward, but he loves it and we love that about him 😂)

Then there are the happy zoomies!!! Watching a dog who was once so unsure of everything let loose and just be silly is so special! And once he trusts you, this goofy boy also turns into an absolute snuggle bug 🥰

Odyssey knows his basic commands, walks nicely on leash, is housebroken, crate trained, and has done well socializing with other medium to large size dogs. 🐕 No cats or small dogs for this guy though and due to his energy he would do best in a home without small children. His ideal human will be someone active that enjoys adventures 👣🐾

Odyssey can still be a little nervous with new people and in unfamiliar situations, so he needs someone who will be patient and continue providing the structure and confidence building that have helped him come so far. Give this boy a little time to learn that you’re safe, though, and you get to watch that sweet, silly dog come out more and more ❤️

And the best part? You won’t be doing it alone! Odyssey comes with in-home training sessions to help transfer the skills he’s learned, continue building his confidence, and set everyone up for success 🙌🏻

We are incredibly proud of how far this boy has come. Now he just needs the person who will take everything he’s learned and give him the life we’ve been preparing him for 💙

Lots of reactions and shares of this post but still no one for Ace 😢

Ace had his happily ever after… until tragedy changed everything 💔

Last summer, Ace came into our rescue after a couple of resource guarding incidents in his original home that resulted in minor bites. With patience, structure, and guidance from our trainer, he made incredible progress. Before long, he found an amazing adopter and finally got the happy ending every rescue dog deserves! He was loved beyond measure, spoiled, and truly living his best life.

Tragically, Ace’s adopter was involved in a fatal accident. Through no fault of his own, Ace has now lost the person he loved and is once again searching for a family to call his own.

Ace is approximately 4 years old, weighs around 25 pounds, and is a French Bulldog mix. He’s housebroken, crate trained, knows his basic commands, and is incredibly sweet and loyal to his people. And once he feels at home? His goofy side comes out!! He absolutely loves toys and has the funniest way of chasing them, it somehow manages to be both completely ridiculous and unbelievably adorable. And yes… he occasionally lets out those classic little Frenchie snorts that are guaranteed to make you smile. ❤️

Ace would do best in a quieter adult only home. While he has done well meeting a few other dogs, he has never lived with one and would likely be happiest as your one and only. Cats are unknown.

Ace already knows what it’s like to be deeply loved. Our greatest hope is that somewhere out there is another family ready to give him that kind of love again!

💙🐾DASH NEEDS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE TO LAND 🐾💙

At just THREE MONTHS OLD, Dash had already experienced more suffering than any puppy ever should 💔

This boy entered rescue as a cruelty case, suffering from a broken jaw and puncture wounds. Just a baby, already carrying the physical and emotional scars of a terrible beginning. Unfortunately, Dash did not receive all of the medical and behavioral support he needed at that time, and he’s still dealing with the effects today 😢

Now a little over a year old, Dash is a handsome, approximately 55 pound bull breed mix who deserves the opportunity to finally have the life he should have had all along❤️

Dash has a big, goofy personality! He LOVES to play, enjoys his walks, he excels at mental enrichment activities, and is a huge fan of his yak chews! Then when he’s ready to settle down, he loves nothing more than some good snuggles💙

But Dash is also a dog who needs a little extra help navigating the world. He struggles with overstimulation and reactivity, and sometimes his emotions get bigger than his ability to manage them 😔

He’s already working on it and learning!

Dash has been working hard with his foster mom and trainer, and we’re beginning to see him make some really great choices! He’s showing us that he CAN learn to regulate himself, disengage from things that excite or overwhelm him, and make better decisions.
And we’re incredibly proud of him🥹

Now Dash needs a very special human willing to continue that journey with him! He needs someone who understands that progress takes time, patience, consistency, and commitment.
Someone who can provide structure, a predictable routine, and appropriate outlets for him 🙏

And most importantly, someone willing to follow a training plan and participate in ongoing weekly training sessions so he can continue building on the progress he’s already made.

Dash isn’t a dog who needs someone to feel sorry for him.
He’s a dog who needs someone to believe in him 🙏

On October 28th, Dash will also be seeing a specialist to evaluate his still unhealed jaw and determine what options may be available to help him moving forward.

Dash is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for someone who will see his potential, celebrate his victories, and help him become the dog we know he can be! He will do best in a quieter adult only home. While he does enjoy playing with other dogs he prefers to be the only dog in the home and no cats for this boy.

‼️💔 PLEASE HELP US FIND COOKIE A FOSTER HOME! 💔‼️

Look at this beautiful girl. Now look at the pictures of the environment she was raised in. 😢

Cookie didn’t get the start in life that every puppy deserves. Instead of growing up experiencing the world, meeting new people, and learning that life could be a wonderful place, she spent her critical early months confined to a pen with very little exposure to anything.

And now, at just 1½ years old, she’s paying the price for a life she never chose. 💔

Cookie is fearful of strangers and unfamiliar situations. Sometimes that fear comes out as growling. She’s a dog who needs someone willing to understand her, be patient with her, and help her learn that the world doesn’t have to be such a scary place.

Cookie is running out of time!
Where she currently is was only ever meant to be temporary, and unfortunately, she can not stay there too much longer 😢

Cookie has been living with other dogs and children, and has shown that she is capable of doing well in a home environment. She has so much potential. What she needs now is the consistency, guidance, and stability she needs to truly thrive.

We finally had someone interested in meeting her recently, and we were so hopeful. But they canceled the meet. And aside from that, Cookie has received no other interest. 😢

WHAT COOKIE NEEDS:

🐾 An experienced, committed foster willing to work with a fearful dog.

🐾 A quiet home without small animals

🐾 Someone willing to participate in weekly training sessions and follow through between visits.

🐾 Most importantly, someone who won’t give up on her simply because she needs help.

WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING SUPPORT!

Our trainer will work alongside Cookie’s foster, providing weekly sessions, guidance, and ongoing support to help both Cookie and her foster family succeed.

Cookie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

We aren’t asking someone to take on a dog and figure everything out alone. We’re asking someone to become part of the team that helps change her life!

Cookie didn’t choose how she was raised. She didn’t choose to miss out on the experiences that help puppies grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs.

But someone out there can choose to give her a different future 🥹

Please, we are begging you to help us find that person. 🙏

🐾Making good decisions is exhausting 🐾

Our boy Dash is starting to show us that he can make good decisions all on his own 🥹

For those who don’t know Dash’s story, this boy has struggled tremendously with overstimulation and reactivity. Even interactions with people he knows have been difficult for him. In fact, one neighbor who has known Dash for months told us she doesn’t even look at him when he’s around because something as simple as eye contact (even after months of knowing him) could cause him to become overstimulated and reactive.

But today something pretty amazing happened!
Dash was out on a walk with his foster mom when a stranger approached looking for votes.
And guess what Dash did?

He sat down, turned his back to the stranger, and looked up at his foster mom for direction 🥹

No reactivity. No overstimulation. He simply chose not to engage with the stranger and instead looked to his foster mom to handle the situation.

And here’s the BEST part!
Nobody told him to do that!

His foster mom didn’t give him a command or ask him to focus on her. Dash made that decision completely on his own! For a dog who has struggled so much with regulating his emotions and reactions, this is HUGE! It’s one thing to teach a dog to follow a command. It’s another thing entirely to see that dog begin making better decisions independently.

And that’s exactly what we’re starting to see with Dash!

And we have to give some BIG props to his foster mom too! She’s been working so hard with Dash, embracing his training, putting in the work, and doing everything she can to help this boy succeed. Her dedication to him is truly something special ❤️

They’re both learning, growing, and building confidence together, and we absolutely LOVE seeing it🥹

Dash still has a journey ahead of him, but moments like this show us just how far he’s coming.

Odyssey just got picked up from his neuter appointment. He is still a little out of it from the anesthesia 😂. But the big news is he did a great job! The girls said he was very brave 💪🏻🥹💙
