But every night, we close it again.
Empty arms. No calls. No visits. Just silence.

We don’t understand.
He’s gentle. He’s patient.
He stares at the gate like he’s still holding on to hope.

But how do you explain to a dog…
that no one is coming today?
Or tomorrow?

This little Staffy has done nothing wrong.
And yet he’s invisible.
That’s the part that hurts the most.
