Dog Guard was born from heartbreak and built on love.
When our president, Dean Watkins, was just 9 years old, his dog Sheba was hit by a car right in front of their home. After losing her, Dean’s dad knew he had to find a way to help other families keep their dogs safe. That’s how Dog Guard began.

More than 30 years later, we’re still doing what his family started — helping dogs stay where they’re happiest: right at home, with the people who love them.
