🚨 I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. 🚨

I’ve spent most of my life helping animals, through single parenthood, financial struggles, chaos, loss, and plenty of times when I probably should have stepped back. Somehow, I’ve always found a way to keep going.

But right now, Steph’s Pet Rescue is in danger of having to close its doors.

I’m dealing with major life changes while also carrying over $1,000 in veterinary debt, plus the constant cost of food, litter, hay, medications and supplies.

I don’t want my personal circumstances to be the reason I stop helping animals. But I can’t keep carrying all of this alone.

Managed to save $250 of my pay to go towards this bill, but now I’ve got to use it to send my sweet berner Nebula to heaven on Thursday (Cancer) 😭😭😭😭 I really can’t with life right now.

Thank you for the recent donation of $500 specifically for the new buns that came in, we have that set aside for their spay and neuter! BUT, because this is our current balance that we are trying to pay down, can’t bring more animals in to be seen 😭

Please please help if you can!!! I will not be giving out the name of the vet to donate directly UNLESS you have previously donated, someone already ruined that opportunity 😕

Can someone foster this slurry eating kid from tonight or tomorrow before 11, until Monday sometime? They would also have to pick her up (Browns Mills) and bring her back though, or foster her longer 🥰

Meet Blossom. 😼

Born to the streets. Raised by the streets. Humans? They’re just tolerated enough to keep her street cred intact.

Blossom’s motto has always been:
“Feed me… then mind your business.”

Most days, Blossom don’t want no smoke with the humans. She collects her meals, gives everyone the side-eye, and disappears back into the west side colony like the neighborhood boss she is.

But recently… the human annoyances noticed something wasn’t right with her ear.

Then the unthinkable happened.

Blossom started acting like… a house cat.

She wanted attention.
She wanted pets.
She even hung around the humans.

The jig was up. Everyone knew something had to be wrong.

So Blossom had to take that dreaded ride to the vet.

And maaaaan, this girl was FRONTIN’! 😂

Because ain’t NO WAY she’s about to let the streets find out she was laid up at the vet acting like she’s known these humans her whole life.

Like…
“Is you good, Blossom?” 🤨

Thankfully, after some medication, a clean bill to head back home, and $256 later, the queen of the west side colony was back on her corner in no time.

The only problem?

One thing Blossom isn’t doing…

…is paying that vet bill. 💸😒

So if you’d like to help keep our neighborhood tough girl healthy (while she continues pretending she doesn’t know us), we’d sure appreciate it. ❤️🐾

Zero new donations 😭 and we are still out of litter, using the messy paper litter and almost out of that too. I went a week last week without eating lunch to make sure I had enough to feed them. This is what happens to a small, one income person who rescues animals and then ends up with massive vet bills sadly.

Only one small donation to as made and was appreciated! However I’m OUT of pelleted litter, veggies, and I need to make at least a $500 payment on my vet bill, and a payment for one of our dogs recent surgeries, and have 2 rabbits that need to go be seen ASAP but I can’t do that until I make a payment 😭😭
Yes I can just close up shop, because I’m struggling financially temporarily, but how will get help the ones in my care?

Doesn’t help that everyone who wants to adopt lately wants to haggle over my already lower than most’s adoption fees.
