A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out to golf, sponsor, volunteer, donate, and support Tri State Basset Hound Rescue at the 16th annual Fore the Bassets Golf Tournament. This year we had 120 golfers, our biggest tournament yet!

We are especially grateful to John and Mandy Shema whose hard work, dedication, and countless hours of planning made this amazing day possible. Thank you Sand Springs Country Club for once again providing a beautiful venue and helping make this event such a success.

⛳️🐾 Grab your clubs and your love for long ears - 'Fore the Bassets' Golf Tournament is on Saturday! We’re returning to gorgeous Sand Springs Country Club for our 16th Annual golf tournament fundraiser, and the hounds are counting on you.

🐾💙 We survived the heat and made it through an amazing 2026 Bark at the Parx at Parx Basset Hound Racing! 💙🐾

It was definitely a HOT one, but your hounds gave it their all. Some raced like champions, some took creative detours, some decided running was optional… but plenty crossed that finish line, and many kept us laughing all day long.

Most importantly, everyone had fun, stayed safe, and helped support Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out, cheered, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and spent the day with us.
