Odis has been living at a church for a while. He’s a bit banged up and his eyes are a tad crossed, but that just makes him special. Odis weighs 64 lbs and is around 4 years old. Doesn’t Odis seem like the perfect name for him? ❤️

We know Mississippi can get behind some football when it is LSU and Ole Miss. Now, how about some animal rescue competitions? BARL is currently 14th in a worldwide competition to win 50k for the rescue. We have almost 25k followers on this platform alone. If everyone voted once a day for the next 5 days, we could put our small-town charity on the map!

All of the charities participating are really great causes, but 50k can go a long way toward feeding and caring for some animals here locally.

HOW TO HELP
Vote daily until Nov. 5.
Recruit friends, family, and businesses.
If you are an influencer, we would be grateful for a shout-out.

BARL is one of 25 national finalists but we need your votes daily!

Our video highlighting the work of Brookhaven Animal Rescue League has been selected as a finalist in Greater Good Charities’ Good Exists Challenge. BARL is now in the running for funding from a $100,000 grant pool, and you can help by voting!

VOTE DAILY:
Vote once a day, October 29–November 5:
https://goodexists.greatergood.org?sre=zjgopNC4NYkLNuK

Click Vote and enter your email address as prompted. No TikTok account is needed.

Public voting determines first and second place. Judges will also award three $10,000 Impact Prizes.

Voting closes November 5 at 10:59 p.m. Central, and winners will be announced November 7.

YOU CAN VOTE FROM ALL OVER!
Your long distance cousin can vote. Mississippi all over can show up, other states, we even have a Canadian involved. Let's show them what a small community can do. Share and encourage participation.

To our volunteers, adopters, donors and friends: your compassion makes BARL’s work possible. Thank you!

Thanks Greater Good Charities for this opportunity.
