Fun Fact for Families not Familiar with the Maine C**n Breed.
So alot of families reach out to me and or message me with this common misconception of thinking that they have a “Maine C**n” and I always feel bad having to say does your cat have papers to confirm such?
I almost ALWAYS get the same reply “No, but my cat has an “M” on its forehead and I was told that always means it’s a Maine C**n”. Then I proceed to ask where did you get said cat and nearly always am told “I rescued it” or “I found it outside and wanted to save it!”
So what does the Mysterious “M” really mean might one ask?
- Well let me explain that “M” is a very specific marking you will find on any Tabby patterned coat(hair) and that can be found on any Domestic Cat Long and Shorthaired and other mixed domestic breeds as well as on the famous Maine C***s!
