We recently received a baby owl! This little one was found in Rye, out of the nest prematurely. Did you know sibling rivalry exists between owls? It is possible that this owl was pushed out of the nest or frightened by a predator.
As of now the center is run out of private locations. Unfortunately our Bronxville location has been shut down due to town ordinances. This owl will need to be transported to a different location. We hope to open a public center open in the near future where no injured or orphaned wildlife will be turned away!

The Center received an American Kestrel recently. This small falcon struck a window near a bird feeder. We are expecting a full recovery and successful future release! Please position bird feeders away from windows. This will lessen the chance of birds flying into windows and injuring themselves.
