This small Jack Russel mix was found this morning near Starting Point Training Center in Morriston. She was found covered in fleas and very scared. For now, she is safe with her finder.

🐾🦴We are completely out of food for our pet food pantry at Levy County Animal Services.🦴🐾

Because of the generosity from donors, we’ve been able to help keep more pets in loving homes across Levy County. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our incredible donors. Did you know spayed and neutered pets live significantly longer?

Studies show neutered male dogs live 13.8%–18% longer and spayed female dogs 23%–26.3% longer. 🐶

For cats, the benefit is even higher: neutered males live 62% longer and spayed females 39% longer. 🐱

Overall, sterilization adds roughly 1–3 years to dogs' lives and 3–5 years to cats' lives.

She appears to be very friendly but scared. For now, she is safe in our care and we are naming her Grace.
