Okay I didn't plan on doing a comparison of this trim since this is the second time I've trimmed her. But the pictures speak for themselves. 10 weeks it took to fast track unbinding her hooves and seeing a totally different hoof. Everything is compromised in the before trims. Frog is being pushed forward. Sole is compacted and dropped through the whole foot. Toe is completely dubbed with way too harsh of a bevel. Complete cartoon looking feet. This horse was moving on tennis ball hooves. Unfortunately she was practically in the process of mechanical founder due from being trimmed this way. THIS is why I love doing this. THIS is the kind of relief I want to see. More updates to come on this mare. She is just at the beginning of her road back to functional feet.

Look at this incredible progress with Rose. It's incredible what change can happen in just a few weeks with corrective trimming and support. To any horse owner who has been told a horse' feet will always have no heels, thin soles, etc. they're incredibly wrong. Hoof trimming is an art. It's a beautiful skill that can unlock soo many things in your equine partner.

A good example of how much can change in a short amount of time with correct trimming. These changes were 5 months of progress on a TB hinds. ❌Bullnosed,
❌Angles are off
❌heels underrun
❌leverage going into the upper soft tissue

Lots of progress yet to be made but this guy is on the right track. This last trim he is showing
✅much better balance,
✅less leverage going up into the soft tissue, ✅better angels, and
✅more straighter heel growth as the heels are beginning to open up.

There's nothing better than seeing results each time you trim. 🙌🏻

Zim has made some good improvements this cycle. This is his second reset. This time we used the new mushroom tab system from easy care which should help the reset process overall. Zim still has a very far way to go but look at the improvements that can be made in just a couple trims! His heels are beginning to open up, the toe is slowly coming back, and proper angels are slowly being restored. Excited to continue to see his improvement.

Check out these improvements in just 5 weeks!

Undoing years of bound up heel and sole. 

IN just a few weeks already showing 👇🏻
👉expansion of the heels,
👉heel bulbs relaxing
👉much more symmetrical,
👉overall more balanced,
👉Hoofwall is straightening as the hoof is loading more on the sole level,
👉and bars are uncurling as the heels are freed up.

Also set him up this time in a 2 degree wedge with the Speeds to help as he improves.
