Urban Tails currently has Walter. All of the rescues and shelters tagged in this post were just tagged in case they could help. Please do not send any of them angry messages. Urban Tails has given Walter over a month to find placement. I’m sure he will find someone willing to take him 🧡

Walter is looking for a rescue or an adopter ASAP! He has been boarding at a training facility in Smithfield, RI for 10 months and they plan to euthanize him September 1st if they haven't found another place for him by then, as they don't have the resources to keep him permanently and no one else has stepped up for him! 😞
Walter is 18 months old, UTD, neutered. He is perfectly crate and ecollar trained. He has been working on the core 15 cues for the past year. He is extremely sweet and a tennis ball and pool enthusiast. Like any other dog though, he comes with rules. He is not a fan of strangers, but we know plenty of dogs that have lived and currently live fulfilling lives with the same rules Walter has.

He sounds like a wonderful dog in so many ways and deserves to have a great life!
** We know this is very upsetting, but they have donated the boarding and training for nearly a year. They are not a rescue or shelter and are not able to keep him indefinitely. Walter is a good boy who needs time to warm up to new people. Please let's all focus on helping 🙏**
