Hansell Wildlife is supporting Pisgah Pest Control with donations for their annual Back to School Bash happening July 19th from 11-2. We have donated some paper, composition notebooks, scissors, erasers, pencils, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks and now I just packed pencil bags with highlighters. They are still in need of additional supplies to make this bash a success. It takes a community to make these things happen and ours always shows up and shows out. If you would like to help, you can make donations to Pisgah Pest Control or let us know and we will pick it up and deliver it for you. We have a list of supplies still needed. I will add that in the comments as soon as it is updated.

We are so grateful for all the Teachers in Transylvania County. While we have blessed our grandkids teacher all week with gifts, I were able to share some love with others as well. We started Monday providing “Nacho Average Teacher” baskets. Tuesday, we did Teacher Survival Kits which included candy, a bracelet and Dunkin Donuts Gift cards. Wednesday, we gave out adorable succulents with Jersey Mike’s gift cards. We also provided a taco bar for all the staff at Miss Honey’s daycare in Rosman. Thursday, we wanted to let our teachers know how Marvelous & Magnificent they are with a jar full of M&M’s and a hand written note. We, along with the Thompson family, also provided a taco bar for the EC department at BES. Friday, we will wrap up our week preparing our teacher for some summer fun with an adorable tea dispenser full of summer fun treats! We love our teachers and all that they do for the students of Transylvania county. Day in and day out, they show up and do everything they can to invest in these kids lives to prepare them for their future. This week, we have had fun blessing them, but it is a small token of our appreciation for ALL that they do!

Today, a sweet young lady gave this to our son Tobias along with some homemade muffins she made for him. This was so precious and made his day! Such a sweet family!
