Earlier this month we had to say goodbye to one of the sweetest souls to ever walk through our doors, Sheriff Zeus ๐ค๐พ
Zeus passed away peacefully in his sleep at almost 13 years old, leaving behind a paw print on so many hearts. He was gentle, loving, goofy, and impossible not to adore. From his adorable little prance when he trotted around daycare to his unmatched talent for somehow getting into every garbage can imaginableโฆ Zeus always kept us smiling. Honestly, weโre still convinced he had secret magician abilities. ๐
He proudly wore his sheriff badge everywhere he went, earning his title as our official Sheriff. And while he carried himself with quiet sweetness, he also carried so much love for his family; especially his siblings, Tiberius and Ursa. After losing Tiberius last year, Zeus continued being the comforting, steady presence everyone needed. Now we know those two are curled up together again somewhere peaceful. ๐ค
Our hearts are especially with Ursa and Zeusโs family as they navigate this loss. Dogs may only be part of our lives, but to them, we are their whole world; and Zeus gave his whole heart to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Run free, Sheriff Zeus. Thank you for every tail wag, every goofy moment, and every ounce of love you gave us. You will always be part of our daycare family. ๐ถโญ
