🇺🇸 Remembering our heroes ❤️‍🩹

Memorial Day is a federal holiday dedicated to mourning and honoring the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the Armed Forces. It serves as a solemn day of remembrance distinct from Veterans Day, which celebrates all living veterans.

As a family who has several service members, some of who didn’t make it home, this isn’t just another day, holiday or start to the summer. It’s a day to remember.

😃 It’s a long weekend for many! 😃

Some years we camp… some years we relax… this year we have projects and upgrades for the critters happening! And wrapping it up Monday with the kids playing 🎷 🎶 🪈 for a Memorial Day service at a local cemetery 🇺🇸
