Gingerbread Waffles?! Yes please!

Ingredients
1 3/4 cups oat flour or whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves (optional)
pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk (any milk works)
3 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat your waffle iron.
2. In a bowl, whisk dry ingredients together.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted coconut oil/butter, molasses, maple syrup, and vanilla.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
5. Cook in your waffle maker until golden and crisp.
6. Serve warm with maple syrup, fruit, or your favorite toppings.

You won't be disappointed. These taste like Christmas!

This is an exciting opportunity to learn (and see) about how chicks develop inside of the egg, and then watch them actually hatch! We provide the incubator with 20-25 eggs, come in twice to show the candling process and check egg fertility, as well as “lock down” the incubator to start the hatching process. Once the hatching is done, we pick up the chicks and the incubator at the end of the experience! No worries about where those little fluffy butts 🐣 will go 🥰 This is roughly a 21 day process start to finish.

**The exact dates for this will depend on fertility rates and when the ladies 🐔 decide to start laying again. We don’t use artificial light to force laying, so the hens get a natural break to let their bodies recuperate over the winter, and their start up time for laying can vary.**
