This Veterans Day, we’re proud to honor one of our very own, Katherine Dickerson. Katherine proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force before continuing to serve others as a certified veterinary technician.
We’re also incredibly thankful for the many members of our Hands of Hope team who have loved ones who served or are currently serving in our nations military. THANK YOU for your commitment to protecting our freedom!! Happy Veterans Day!

It’s Veterinary Receptionist Week!
And we’re here to shout from the rooftops (or at least the front desk) about our three incredible receptionists who are basically superheroes in scrubs.

Dolly – Every dog’s favorite person and the unofficial snack dealer of the clinic. You’ll usually find her on the floor giving belly rubs, sneaking treats, and somehow answering phones, scheduling appointments, and comforting nervous pet parents—all at once. Queen of multitasking? That’s an understatement. We don’t know what we’d do without her (and neither do the dogs).

Jessica – The calm in the chaos, the smile in the stress, and the soothing voice on the phone that instantly makes your day better. Jess is the human version of a warm cup of tea (with maybe a cookie on the side). She listens, she cares, and she’s the kind of person who makes you believe the world still has good people in it—because she is one of them.

Ellen – The most down-to-earth, fiercely loyal, heart-of-gold kind of human. She’s the one who will go above and beyond for anyone—whether you have two legs or four. She brings a sense of peace, kindness, and compassion to the front desk that reminds us why we do what we do. We’re beyond lucky to have her in our corner (and at our phones).

To Dolly, Jessica, and Ellen—thank you for keeping our clinic running, our clients cared for, and our furry friends feeling safe and loved. You’re the heart of this place, and we love you for it.
