The male is blind and the female may have recently had pups.

📢 UPDATE 📢

The dog "Boomer" was found on Interstae 15 mile marker 155. He was taken to AS&C shelter. He is safe, and luckily he was chipped. Owner was called and we left a message. Hopefully they will be reunited soon.

** DOG RUNNING LOOSE ON INTERSTATE **

Overweight Australian Shepherd

On northbound side of interstate just South of Basin and heading towards Bernice.

By the time the finder turned around and headed back they can't find it.

Please if your dog is missing and this sounds like your dog please go get it to keep it safe. Running on the interstate is not a good idea.

Lost dog. Spayed female, wearing a collar with ID tag. Elkhorn Mountains, Shingle Butte area, Jefferson County Montana. If found please contact Jefferson County Sheriffs office or your nearest animal shelter. She is microchipped.

She has been caught and coming to shelter to keep her safe tell hopefully we could find her owner.

📢 Fur-loving community, We need your help.

It seems like the blind male dog that was found up Bernice last night was not alone. We received reports of two dogs, one male and one female. The male is at the shelter. It seems there is still one loose, and it was reported to be a female, and it looks like she recently had a litter of pups. Picture of her is below.

If anybody is in the area and wouldn’t mind checking out Bernice between Ladysmith campground and by the fork leading up to White House campground, that would be awesome. It's possible there are campers up near there that lost their dogs. We would greatly appreciate any help that you can provide to help save this dog.

BERNICE AREA,

Male dog found about 2 miles up bernice wearing no collar and has no chip. It appears he escaped from being tied up and he's blind.
