🐾 Today, Crew 75 had the honor of meeting Gerri, a generous and compassionate community member who recently lost her beloved dog, Donny. ❤️🐶

After seeing heartbreaking news stories about pets lost in fires, Gerri wanted to make sure no animal goes without help when it matters most. She made a large donation (in honor of Donny) to Greater Naples Fire Rescue to ensure every unit has enough pet oxygen masks—including extras, since they are single-use only—for any calls involving animals in distress.

Her thoughtful gift will help us be better prepared to care for our four-legged friends in emergencies. We are incredibly grateful for Gerri’s kindness, turning her loss into something powerful for others—especially those without a voice. 🐕🐾❤️

Spent 2 nights with over 2.5hrs per night out looking for Hank and Sage who were missing in Hendry County for 5 days, unfortunately did not see them with the drone. Fortunately Sage was found the day after my first search, but she was spotted approximately 4 miles from the search area but wouldn't come to the owners at the time. They called me back out to keep an eye out on her and to look for Hank in that area. By the time I got there they were able to get sage so I was able to spend the next 2.5hrs searching for Hank. I covered a lot of ground since it was all open fields and barns but no luck with Hank. I received from a call from the owners the next day telling me Hank was found in a barn by neighbors. They said he'd been hanging around inside the barn a few days but they were never able to catch him.. I was really happy hearing both Hank and Sage were returned home safely. The owners did a great job recovering them. Never give up hope on your pets, they can survive a long time. What helped here was getting those Lost Dog signs up not only close to home but further out on main roads. Once they put the signs up further away they got calls. Dogs can travel a long way in a few days. Will get a few video clips up soon. I was able to get a picture of Sage, she was covered in burrs and looking exhausted but looked so happy to finally be home again, she was caught a little before I got there. I did not get to see Hank.

Happy 4th of July everyone! With all the fireworks and storms there will be a lot of lost pets out there. If you're pet is afraid of the fireworks please keep them inside or on a leash if outside. Give them someplace to hide inside the house. If your pet does escape and you need me to come out with my thermal drone and do a search, feel free to text or call me. 239-994-6959

Thoughts and prayers to all the firefighters and law enforcement in Idaho right now! Firefighters ambushed while responding to a brush fire, reports saying multiple shot and 2 dead. Shooter/shooters still not apprehended!

Once you and the pilot agree to terms, a pilot will then conduct a search for your lost animal. This ensures that you put forth the best effort possible to locate your loved one.
