🍂🦃 This Thanksgiving, We Celebrate 10 Years of Gratitude, Guardianship & Louisiana’s Wild Horses 🐎🌾
This November, as families gather and gratitude fills the air, we reflect on a decade of protecting one of Louisiana’s most extraordinary treasures; the Kisatchie wild horses.
Ten years ago, Pegasus Equine Guardians began with a simple belief: These resilient, historic, free-roaming horses deserved protection, respect, and a future on the land they’ve called home for generations.
Today, as we enter the season of thanks, we celebrate:
🐴 Ten years of sanctuary and safe haven
🌾 Ten years preserving their rare genetic heritage
🪶 Ten years honoring deep Indigenous and cultural roots
🤝 Ten years of community support and stewardship
📚 Ten years of advocacy, education, and historical preservation
What started as a mission to protect a small group of wild horses has grown into a movement; one fueled by compassion, resilience, and people who refuse to let these horses become forgotten.
This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful to everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared our posts, delivered hay, attended meetings, or simply cared from afar; Thank You❣️
You have helped carry these horses through storms, droughts, threats, and change.
You have helped preserve a living piece of Louisiana’s story.
