Congratulations to Dr Katie and her husband Matt on the birth of their first child McKayla! She joined the world earlier than expected and is growing healthy while at her stay in the NICU. She is just precious and we all can't wait to meet her!

All of our vets know first hand that pregnant mommas love a midnight snack, but our friend Jewel went a little too hard.
Jewel's owner found her early morning with her stall gate off it's hinges and her head in the grain barrel. Unsure of how much she actually ate, we recommended a stomach lavage. 3 five-gallon buckets of grain lavaged and Jewel is ready for her next (MUCH smaller) snack!

Recently one of our patients, Donny, cracked a lower incisor in half, exposing the sensitive pulp tissue. Dr Lisa and Dr Katie were able to practice their incisor extraction skills, hoping to improve Donny’s comfort and lessen his aversion to oral medications/treatments🦷

We are 1 year old! July 1st, 2023 we took off in a whirlwind to make sure we could offer continued care to our clients and their horses that decided to join us in this venture. It has been a fast-paced rollercoaster! We are so thankful to those of you who have supported us through our first year as a practice, and are excited to continue to offer the highest degree of care to all our patients for years to come!
