**UPDATE** ADOPTED :)

Our next handsome bachelor is Opie. This boy also lost his home through no fault of his own. Opie is about a year and a half old. He is a lab mix (likely with some kind of bully breed). He has a very lab like build, and he definitely has the lab hair coat (and he sheds like a lab too 😂). This boy is as a sweet as they come. He doesn't know a stranger. He let us give him a bath, blow his undercoat out, and draw his blood all within an hour of being here. He loves children, and he has lived with another dog. He should meet the whole family prior to adoption. Opie is crate trained and housebroken. He knows a couple commands as well. Opie is quiet and well behaved. He would make a great dog for a family.
Opie is getting neutered tomorrow (June 26th). He will be available to be adopted after that. His adoption fee is $145 and includes a license. Give the pound a call if you want to meet this sweet boy. 330-339-2616. 🥰

If someone is looking for a beautiful too friendly dog, here she is!!

Roasted Red Pepper is a 3 year old pitty. She was surrendered to be euthanized because she is too friendly. Yes- too friendly. *cue eye roll - that is honestly a new one for us*
Roasted Red Pepper is indeed VERY friendly, wants to be under your skin, in your lap, tongue on face, wiggling everywhere. She does well with other dogs and likes to go outside and play. She also loves children.
No, she will not be a guard dog. Roasted Red Peppers will invite strangers in for gossip and coffee, then show them where the couch is for cuddles.
She is spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
