ANGUS is affectionate, outgoing, and very vocal when it comes to getting the attention he knows he deserves. He’ll rub his head on your arms, legs, and even your face just to say, “Hey, love me now.” He’s the kind of cat who wants to be wherever you are—and doesn’t mind letting you know it. Snuggles? Yes. Pets? Yes. Being picked up for a little bit? Sure, as long as the cuddles keep coming.

This sweet boy loves people, enjoys feline company, and will thrive in just about any environment where he's treated like the adored companion he is. Bonus points if you have a window for him to gaze out of and snacks on standby!

MACARONI: A Strong-Willed Sweetheart with a Soft Side

Meet MACARONI, a handsome ginger boy with a big personality and a soft soul—once you get to know him.

MACARONI enjoys attention, but only in small doses and strictly on his terms. He’ll accept a few pets here and there when he's in the mood—no need to overdo it! One-handed pets are best (he prefers the second hand stay out of the picture), and when he’s had enough, he’ll let you know with a swat or a warning look. That’s just his way of setting boundaries.

He loves hanging out high on a cat tree, especially near a window where he can oversee his domain. He’s especially fond of gentle head scratches when he’s lounging up there. And once he feels safe with you, he may even greet you with a sweet leg rub in the morning.

MACARONI thrives with other cats and enjoys playful interactions with his feline companions. A home with another cat would be ideal—he not only enjoys their company but can learn social cues from them too.

We know there's a lot of affection in MACARONI, but it takes time and trust for him to show it. Like many shelter cats, he may open up more in a calm, loving home—but there are no guarantees he’ll ever be a lap cat. What he really needs is an experienced, patient adopter who respects his boundaries and is looking for a quirky, independent companion.

Sparrow found her furrever home! 😻 She will be sharing her new life with another feline, a canine and a lizard along with three kiddos. 😽
