Just like last year, we will be hosting our golf scramble at the beautiful Lakeview Golf Course in Meridian, Idaho. 🏌️

Registration begins at 8:00 AM and you’ll once again enjoy delicious donuts or croissants and coffee to get you going on the green. 🍩🥐☕️

After you register, you can purchase birdie tapes and mulligan tickets (unless you purchased in advance, in which case we will have them ready for you) to enhance your scores and hit a few free shots on the sponsored driving range.

Our shotgun start begins promptly at 9 AM.

You’ll enjoy all the most popular contests from last year like:

⛳ closest to the pin (men and women)
⛳ longest drive (men and women)
⛳ closest to the pond
⛳ longest putt made

We will also have a bunch of cool raffle prizes available like last year. Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the event, and specifics will be announced on the prizes via email, online and on the day of the scramble.

Katelyn & Chelsea (who run PNW) will be there to help with raffle items and to meet you in person!

All proceeds (after expenses) go to support Saint Bernards of the PNW rescue.

After playing concludes, help yourself to a bite of lunch at Lakeview’s Rooster on the Green restaurant while we celebrate the winners of the scramble contests!

🐾 IT’S NATIONAL PET DAY! 🐾
Although we aren’t officially operating anymore we still have these two gorgeous babies we are helping take care of.

Leonard, the black Great Dane, came from the first Big Bang Theory litter (who has been with us since that??). He was so scared and shut down even as a puppy that it took his foster Mama over a year to be able to pet him. We decided to make him a forever foster and over the last few years he has been getting monthly líbrela injections for his hips (thanks to terrible breeding!). ISBR covers the cost of that (about $110 a month).

Ellie the Saint came from the home of one of our most special foster Mamas who sadly passed last year. Her wish was that we took in Ellie and kept her happy and comfortable for her remaining days, as she was already 9 years old. Ellie is doing well and gets daily Carprofen for her arthritis and we help cover the cost of that and her food.

If you are so inclined to help us continue to cover these two sweet babies, we would very much appreciate it. As you know we are no longer doing fundraisers so hav been relying on what was left in our bank account when we closed our doors.

🐾 Meet Muffin Man! 🐾
📍 Great Dane mix | ~1 year old | Big puppy energy

Muffin Man is a lovable, goofy Great Dane mix who’s still very much in his big-puppy era. At around a year old, he’s playful, confident, and full of potential, the kind of dog who’s guaranteed to keep you smiling.

He was recently adopted and returned after a few days due to incompatibility with the adopter’s resident dog, not because of any concerning behavior. In fact, the adopter shared very positive feedback and felt strongly that Muffin Man will make a wonderful family dog in the right home.

✨ Muffin Man at a glance:
• Large-breed puppy (~1 year old)
• Dog friendly; may do best with a dog who matches his play style
• Playful, goofy, and very toy-motivated
• House trained
• No bite history

🧠 Personality notes:
Muffin Man can have a loud alerting bark and some initial stranger caution, but he settles quickly and engages appropriately. He has mild separation anxiety (mostly vocalizing) and some kennel reactivity, both of which are improving steadily with structure and consistency.

Like most young giant-breed pups, he’s mouthy, jumpy, and enthusiastic, but he’s shown great progress with training and positive human exposure. With continued guidance, he’s going to thrive.

🏡 Ideal home:
A home ready for a young, large-breed dog who still needs guidance, enrichment, and continued training, and who will appreciate a big, loving goofball with a huge heart.
