Who is safe today??? This little guy is! 🧡

We think he must have hitched a ride in someone's car because when he gets scared, he climbs up into the engine. Thankfully, he was found before something tragic happened.

He's a tiny, hissy, spitty orange kitten... and if you've ever met an orange cat, you know they usually come with a little extra drama! 😹 But underneath all that sass is a scared baby who deserves a chance.

Right now, he'll need eye medication, lots of TLC, and once he's healthy enough, he'll be fully vetted and ready to find the forever home he deserves.

This is what rescue looks like every single day. The calls never stop, and neither do the expenses. Every kitten needs medical care, food, litter, supplies, and a safe place to land before they can begin their new life.

Biscuit making at its finest! This baby was found by herself in a colony whose feeder has never seen her before and scooped her up to save her. One of the many. Rescues are in desperate need of fosters.

Even though this is the slow season for transport, it's anything but slow for cats and kittens here in South Florida. So whenever we have the opportunity, we fill a ground transport—and this weekend, 65 lucky kitties made their freedom ride!

They left on Saturday and safely arrived on Sunday at several of our amazing partner rescues, including a new rescue we're excited to begin working with.

What many people don't see is everything that goes into making a transport happen. The cost of gas, supplies, paying our dedicated drivers, and even adding an extra stop all add up quickly. Then there's the countless hours spent cleaning carriers, loading and securing every cat in the van, and cleaning everything again when the van returns.

We do our best to make it look easy, but the truth is, it takes an incredible amount of work behind the scenes. We never seem to have enough hands to help, yet somehow we always find a way because these cats are counting on us.

Every year we say it's the worst kitten season we've ever experienced, and somehow the next year is even harder. This season has been especially devastating for rescues across South Florida, but together we can continue giving these cats and kittens the second chance they deserve.

Foster home needed for family of 6! 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱

Friendly mom and 5 four-five week old babies need a foster home so we can rescue them.

All they need is a spare bathroom or bedroom for about 6-8 weeks.

All supplies provided.
