The suffering we continue to see only gets worse. We are all struggling with money, time, and fatigue and as many as we are able to transport out of Florida, triple the amount are waiting on fosters and help. This baby is safe with us now. We will update you all as we know more of the medical needs.

As Google notes, cats were domesticated roughly 10 thousand years ago; nonetheless, it appears that they have successfully trained us to provide for their care.

Our annual reminder. Please do not get a bunny for Easter.

Easter is coming up so if you are thinking of getting a pet rabbit we encourage you to make an informed decision, work out the pros & cons and see if you are ready for the 8-10 year commitment.

Sadly too many rabbits given at Easter end up dead or are abandoned.

New friends❤️ injured eye kitty from palm beach county is getting comforted by lil abner trailer park kitty, he is waiting on a dental before he can go up north. How sweet are they❤️

Luckily these two had a guardian Angel who watched as a homeowner picked up these cats put them in a bag and threw them in the garbage. They are safe with us now, poor little calico and her eyes hopefully will feel better soon. We will privately reach out to out Miami Gardens trappers to make sure there is noone else in danger.

Our sweet, 6 month old kitten, Shadow, could really use some support. This little guy is putting up the good fight against an as yet to be identified medical problem. He is struggling to gain weight, bloodwork shows some troubling liver values, and beyond all else, he has significant dental disease. He's seen a number of veterinarians, including at an ER visit this week, and has had multiple consultations, each providing a bit more insight and allowing us to move closer to a diagnosis. Shadow continues to need extensive veterinary care, which has been and will continue to be quite expensive. We could use your help to give him the best chance possible. VOLUNTEERS DESPERATELY NEEDED..
West Palm Beach-Delray for help cleaning and setting up, or for help with data entry which can be done from anywhere.

We are exhausted and kitten season isn’t even in full swing yet… Already this year, Bella’s Promise has transported over 600 cats from dangerous conditions on the street and over crowded shelters in South Florida to safe and loving homes in the northeast. It takes a LOT of work to get it done every week including cleaning and setting up the trailer, washing and filling litter boxes, washing blankets and towels, as well as LOTS of paperwork to get the cats approved for interstate transport. We are a small group of volunteers that could really use some help. No matter what your time or skill set involves if you are reliable and dedicated we could use your help.
