Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% no kill, nonprofit 501(c)3 animal shelter based in Boca Raton, Florida. Our goal is to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties each year. Since 1996, we have saved over 100,000 domestic animals from being euthanized. We also work with several local organizations and the local school district to educate the community on animal awareness. At Tri-County Animal Rescue, we believe that every animal deserves to live a happy and healthy life. Our mission aims to shelter and provide a comfortable home for all of the animals that are placed in our facility. We consider each cat and dog a member of our family, loving and caring for them with the utmost respect and tenderness until we can place them in their safe, happy, forever home. Every day, we witness animals who were once in despair, stray, neglected, abused, malnourished, or unwanted—leaving our care as happy, healthy animals. To see them walk out of our doors as completely changed animals is a joy that is difficult to express.

💔 WE COULDN'T SAY NO TO THEM. PLEASE DON'T SAY NO TO US.

35 DOGS. ONE WEEK. AND WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP.

This week alone, 35 dogs arrived at Tri-County Animal Rescue.

🐾 18 dogs rescued from heartbreaking situations involving commercial breeding, suspected dogfighting, and hoarding/cruelty case.
🐾 5 dogs from Miami who needed somewhere safe to land.
🐾 12 dogs from Animal Care and Control, many requiring serious medical attention.

35 lives. 35 stories. 35 promises that their suffering ends here.

Among them is Junebug, rescued from a suspected dogfighting operation from our friends at Animal Rescue Corps with a chain around her neck weighing more than FIVE POUNDS! 💔

Six dogs are heartworm positive. Others need urgent medical treatment. Peaches needs eye care before she can finally be placed for adoption.

Our kennels are filling. Our medical bills are growing and the calls for help aren't stopping.

For over 30 years, we've answered the calls others couldn't. We've helped save more than 101,000 animals, from our own backyard in South Florida to thousands of miles away.

But we cannot keep saying YES without your help.

❤️ If everyone who follows us gives just $5 ($5 Friday), we can begin heartworm treatments.

❤️ If just FIVE people donate $100 Peaches' eye treatment will be covered.

❤️ If just TWO people donate $500 we can microchip all these new arrivals!!!

Despite everything they've endured, these dogs still wag their tails. They still lean into our hands. They still look at us with hope.

They haven't given up on people. Please don't give up on them.

🙏 DONATE. ADOPT. SHARE. WE NEED YOU NOW.

They survived the worst of humanity. Together, let's show them the very best. ❤️🐾

🏴‍☠️🦈 AHOY, MATEYS! THERE’S SOMETHING IN THE WATER! 🌊😂

One is a pirate looking for buried treasure. The other is a shark looking for his next victim… to cuddle. 🤣

🏴‍☠️ CAPTAIN CHANDLER is an 11-year-old Chihuahua who may look like a fierce pirate, but he's actually a big softie! This little gentleman loves other dogs so much that he once escaped his own pen just to comfort a friend recovering from surgery. 🥹 His ideal treasure? A forever home with a canine first mate!

🦈 TYSON THE TERRIFYING SHARK is 14 years young, has approximately ZERO teeth showing, and would rather have a bubble bath than bite anyone! 😂 This handsome Maltese loves being pampered, soaking up attention, and making his humans feel like the most important people in the world.

Neither of these boys is winning any awards for being scary, but they're both undefeated at stealing hearts! ❤️

Two senior gentlemen. Two ridiculous costumes. Two VERY good reasons to adopt a senior dog!

Come meet these handsome Halloween heartthrobs at Tri-County Animal Rescue! 🐾
