High Caliber Animal Trainer Solutions (formerly High Caliber K9s) is owned and operated by Professional Animal Trainer & Behavior Consultant Lauren Elizabeth Gulli. Her career began at the early age of 15 working as a Veterinary Assistant in local Veterinary Clinics. Her hard work and undeniable natural talent led to her being promoted to Veterinary Technician and eventually, Assistant Practice Ma

nager. Lauren spent the better part of 5+ years working with dogs, cats, and exotics in Veterinary Practices across South Florida. She's always had a special interest in exotic animals and was privileged to work under Dr. Susan Clubb, a world-renowned avian veterinarian, for several years. While working under Dr. Clubb, Lauren got to work with many incredible (and some very rare) species including Golden Macaws, Black Palm Cockatoos, Black Panthers, Malayan Tigers, Capuchin Monkeys, Ringtail Lemurs, and many more. She looks back on her time spent in Veterinary Clinics with a deep appreciation, as it gave her an incredible amount of knowledge and insight. In 2015, Lauren realized she had a strong passion for behavior and started to transition her work with animals from assisting with medical needs to behavioral and psychological ones instead. She began working as a volunteer Assistant Dog Trainer at many local shelters, where she was passionate about helping dogs overcome behavioral problems in an effort to increase adoptability. During the same time, she worked in several private zoos across South Florida including Jungle Queen in Fort Lauderdale, where she educated staff on husbandry needs and assisted in training large parrots and primates using R+ methods. Lauren relocated from South Florida to Southeast Tennessee with her family in January of 2019. She received her Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and AKC CGC Evaluator certifications in 2020 and opened High Caliber Animal Training Solutions (High Caliber K9s) shortly after.

I am beyond excited to announce my recertification with Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Inc. (CCPDT) and our grand re-opening (accompanied by a slight name change and brand update)! 🥰

So, what's new? ✨

For starters, High Caliber K9s is now High Caliber Animal Training Solutions - which I believe more accurately reflects my work.

I have never worked exclusively with dogs. My experience in Animal Training began with exotics and zoological creatures and expanded into dogs.

I wanted my branding to more accurately represent the dozens of species I have worked with, and continue to work with. 🐘🐒🦜

Our business model and available services will look slightly different, all of which will be highlighted on our NEW website launching Nov-Dec 2024!

Here's some of what we will be offering:

✨ Academy: Brand new, self-paced learning Academy packed with TONS of educational videos. Learn how to overcome critical behavioral challenges and implement key lessons with your creatures, on your schedule.

✨ Virtual Private Lessons: A more convenient way to train! Having heard nothing but wonderful things from our previous clients during COVID, VIRTUAL private lessons are back and here to stay!

✨ Behavioral Consultations: My specialty and passion has always been solving challenging behavioral concerns, let's sync up and see how I can help you.

✨ Consultancy Work: I am available for speaking engagements and consultancy work with other Trainers on a case-by-case basis.

So you live in East Tennessee and want to be a Dog Trainer? We can help! From Basic and Advanced Obedience to Service Dog Task Training, Behavior Modification and everything in between - we do it all!

We are seeking enthusiastic, hard working apprentices to join our team immediately.

You would work closely with our Owner and Lead Animal Trainer Lauren Elizabeth Gulli to learn the ins and outs of dog handling and training.

Lauren is CPDT-KA Certified, Insured and has been working with dogs (and exotics) since 2007! There's possible opportunities to work with exotic animals as well, if you are interested.

There is potential for this to grow into a paid position for the right candidate(s).

We are seeking individuals who can dedicate 10-15 hours weekly (early mornings, afternoons and/or early evenings).

Hi, I'm Lauren Elizabeth. I own Wonderland Animal Training and will be your Animal Trainer. I work with domestic, exotic and livestock pets. Training animals is so much more than just my passion, it is my purpose. I wake up each morning blessed to be able to share my home and world with so many amazing animals. I place a strong emphasis on continued education. I am a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and am currently pursuing my CGC Evaluator, CPDT-KA and KPA CTP credentials. My combined education and practical experience in both veterinary medicine and animal training and behavior allows me to provide the highest quality training services available, utilizing only positive reinforcement training methods.
