A bit hobble is even better than a curb strap on a snaffle set-up. It helps to balance the bit and return it to center in the mouth when pressure is released, as a properly used snaffle works side to side in the mouth. Snaffle set ups are also best used with a browband headstall that has a throatlatch, and split reins or reins long enough to use each side independently.

It’s cold 🥶 Out here, Yet it’s not slowing us down at all. Just bundled up and sportin’ “Brown overalls”. Mugzy our 2 year old puts up with us, even while he’s wanting to eat. Kiddos are really helping during this winter ❄️ and stepping us. Plus, Battle in the Saddle was Awesome and Everyone did great. Thanks for letting us Judge for you.
