Someone asked me today “Ms Laura why did you put that goat into the wheelchair?” Why are yall “keeping” her alive in this condition?
I said that’s a good question sir and I understand your wondering why I would expend so much energy on this one animal when many animals are in need.
Well because this is how it turned out (for now).
You see I wasn’t the one in the field that morning who found Kitt laying on the ground, abandoned by the mother goat. I was not there for the decision for Kitt to have a “chance” at life.
But other folks were. The vet said “maybe” she could grow and develop better because the vet knows he is not God and that miracles sometimes happen.
Many folks who Kitt touched over the three weeks she was at the school want Kitt to survive and to thrive.
No one knows she won’t. No one knows if she will but I was asked to try and help Kitt have a chance at a good life and because so many want it, I said sure 💜🐐💜
