Update on this sweet girl
Pearl is now safe and doing well in a foster placement thanks to Barking Bubbles Daycare & Grooming, who opened their business to take her in and give her the care, attention, and love she needed.
We want to send a huge thank you to this amazing small business for supporting our animals and helping them decompress, socialize, and get out of the shelter environment. Their willingness to help truly makes a difference.
Please consider visiting and supporting Barking Bubbles Daycare & Grooming, and if you’re looking to add a wonderful dog to your family, Pearl is still available for adoption and looking for her forever home! https://www.facebook.com/share/1CmbpJ8BCY/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Tomorrow is a hard day for many of us.
Several dogs who were pulled from Jasper County Animal Services during the recent cold spell have been living indoors, warm and safe. They’ve learned what it feels like to sleep on a couch, to be part of a home—and tomorrow, many of them are scheduled to go back.
That’s heartbreaking.
So many of you stepped up during the cold and helped get these dogs out of the freezing conditions, and we are incredibly grateful. But now we are at a critical moment. Without more foster or adoptive homes, dogs currently in Beaufort and Hilton Head will have to return to the outdoor shelter at Jasper.
These dogs aren’t asking for much. They just want a couch next to a fireplace, a warm place to rest, and somewhere they can finally call home.
Please—if you are fostering a dog from Jasper and are able to continue, or if you can step up to foster or adopt now, we urgently need you. Sharing this post helps too.
Together, we can keep these dogs from going back.
