That beautiful smoky black Mr Kraft is picking up on is 4 year old “Luckier Than Flit” aka Elvis. We all know Kraft can make anything look good, but we think Elvis is pretty cool too 🕶️

Since we’ve just been lightly seasoning Strut, we went home after the 4th to keep the rest of our program moving. Last week we ventured back out to Kansas for a little run and managed to sneak in there at Abilene for a little $. In Phillipsburg we were more concerned about where the bucking horses were than the barrels, in Dodge we had to contend with some major mud in the morning (loped through) and some much better but slidey ground that night. Proud of Strut for hanging in there though with some less than perfect runs. I’ll post some more details in the comments haha.

Strut just keeps proving to me he’s ready for some more rodeos! We placed at Pecos, despite the slip on second and me riding him a little too conservatively (if you haven’t been to Pecos…the barrels are a mile off the fences 😅). So proud of him for handling things like a champ.

Strut placing at Cleburne last weekend❤️. Only his 3rd outdoor run and he still managed to get in the money with our little detour on first. We have a lot more set ups and ground to figure out but we’re loving every minute of it. Pretty fun when Cort places at the same rodeo too!

Shoutout to .laduke for having a big Sunday last week at THM Productions barrel race! Ginger won 1st in the 1D on Stolin the Lead and 6th on Streakin On Easter. Thanks Ginger for believing in our program and helping us promote our home grown prospects.
