A donkey, a goat, a dog, and a chicken walk into the barn…
And chaos ensues. It may sound like the beginning of a bad joke but it’s been the week. Rescue isn’t always tidy. It’s messy, muddy, hilarious, and sacred.
This week? The donkey, the goat, the dog, and the chicken made sure of it.
Here’s to the wild ones who remind us what love looks like—and as we often say “It’s always some damn thing”.

This little boy came into the world on Mother’s Day—and we’re still in awe.
His mom was rescued and brought here to live in peace… though we believed she was pregnant, she didn’t show until the last month. And here he is.
Our sanctuary is a forever home—no rehoming, no adoptions, just care, love, and second chances.
And now… he needs a name.
