To all our customers, if you are seeing any of these varmints on your animals, please have them treated for fleas. All of our surrounding towns are having flea infestations. It is probably due to so much humidity. But remember, they do not die in the winter. There are four stages to a flea 's life. Three of the four stages can be treated and killed. Although, one of the four stages can only be killed with fire. A solution that we recommend is 'Frontline Plus' spray, 'Simpirica', or any other NON GENERIC flea and tick treatments. There are several products on the market that get rid of fleas, but the generic medicine will not. If you are having flea problems, you must treat all pets, fog your home and yard, and vacuum once a day for a week. Make sure you discard the vacuum bag or clean the canister. Unfortunately, if we find fleas on your pet, we automatically charge $30. This is due to the fact that we must pay to treat all of our own animals, the pets we groom, and the fogging and spraying of our property. We are here if you have any questions. The consequences are very unfortunate if you let the infestation go on for too long. It will be nearly impossible for you to get completely treated. We understand that you all are busy, but let's all try to nip this problem in the butt. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us here at the Chop Shop. We love all of your four-legged babies and only want the best for them. We appreciate your business greatly and hope you enjoy the services we provide.
