What an amazing rescue! I worked with Kayla to bring Miss Ruby to her furever home in Nashville, IN. Ruby stayed with WHCR for about a week before finding her new pawrents.
Kayla was super responsive, kind, and prepared miss Ruby for her journey South.

What is the story behind your pet's name? Meet Cream of Mushroom Soup, Birdie, and Pepper. Cream of Mushroom Soup's legal name originated when I found her with a soup can on her head, earning her the nickname Mushroom. Birdie's vocal nature led to her name, as she frequently chirps at birds. Not pictured is Oreo, who is a tuxedo tripawd. The calico, Pepper, was aptly named to fit the established food theme.
