Puppies on the Prairie Puppies on the Prairie breeds and sells Purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs. Prairie Puppies, formerly Pinkelman Puppies began in 2011 with our pet berner Zoe.

We decided to breed her and have some pups and that started the love affair with the little fur balls and took off from there. Zoe is UKC register Purebred Bernese Mountain Dog and will be retiring in 2016. New to the farm in 2015 is Max and Lucy. They are both AKC registered Purebred Bernese Mountain Dogs. And they both had their PennHip testing done and turned out excellent! We do not run a pupp

y mill, our dogs have free range of the 80 acres and have plenty of socialization with other animals on the farm. Max has the most fun loving disposition and Lucy is a sweetheart.
