Animals have always been my passion.

From the sight of my first elephant as a toddler in Thailand to the first of many kitty, doggie and bird rescues as a child growing up in San Antonio Texas. From taking in or finding homes for the animals in need that crossed my path once I was out on my own as an adult to now finding myself in a beautiful home in the Texas Hill Country doing what I love. It is my honor and my privilege to serve a

nd be a voice for those wonderful 4 legged critters in need of love and care while at the same time fulfilling what I believe to be my purpose in this life. The dream that is THAS was inspired by, first and foremost, my love of animals but also by my profound sadness in the way animals are treated...in every facet of human life. This is why one hope for our future is to become a tool for advocating compassion and understanding for all animals through education and inspiration. The ultimate vision for THAS is to become a successful rescue and adoption facility capable of housing any domestic animal in need; whether to provide an animal a forever home or find an animal a forever family. Here at THAS, in a place I call home, animals come first.
